Treviso \u2013 Bedroom, Bookcase and Kitchen Worktop in Krion Snow White<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This project involved the fabrication of two bespoke elements for a private residence in Treviso: a full-height white melamine bookcase integrated into the sleeping area, and a kitchen worktop in Krion Snow White. The scope was developed as part of a larger fit-out, with GP Design responsible for the Krion fabrication and the melamine furniture elements.<\/span><\/p>\n

White melamine was selected for its versatility and capacity to integrate with the surrounding surfaces without creating visual discontinuity. The dividing wall separates the sleeping area from the walk-in wardrobe while keeping the space fluid and open, developing on the bedroom side into a large-format open-shelf bookcase with full-height shelving. As a custom melamine bookcase wall, the piece communicates lightness and order across the entire length of the room. The uniform white tone of the structure merges with the walls of the space, eliminating any element of perceptual interruption.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bookcase occupies the full height of the opening with modular open bays, organised to accommodate books, decorative objects, and volumes of varying formats. The Krion Snow White kitchen worktop clads the central island with an integrated hob, producing a continuous and luminous surface that reflects the natural light from the large window opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project was executed on a bespoke commission basis, with Krion fabrication carried out in the workshop shaping, edge profiling and preparation of the hob and sink cavities, and melamine bookcase wall production completed in the workshop with assembly performed on site. Each stage within GP Design’s scope was managed in-house to ensure quality control throughout. For residential environments that require coordinated bespoke elements in melamine and Krion, finished to a consistent standard across the entire fit-out, GP Design operates entirely on a made-to-order basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

GP Design is a specialist craft workshop focused on Solid Surface fabrication, based in Vicenza, Italy. It produces custom surfaces for residential and commercial environments, working on private commissions and architectural projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n
