This project involved creating a fully custom bathroom system in Krion for a nursery school in Sandrigo. The scope included designing and producing every element in the space, including washbasins, a changing table, WC cubicle doors, and wall cladding. Each part worked together to meet the hygiene, functional, and perceptual needs of an environment made for young children.
Krion was chosen as the only material for the entire fit-out because of its excellent hygienic features: it is non-porous, antimicrobial, easy to clean, and resistant to constant moisture. These qualities are crucial in a high-use setting like a children’s bathroom. The mix of Teal Blue and Snow White creates a vibrant and visually consistent area that matches the design style of early childhood education. As a fully integrated Krion bathroom system, the fit-out shows care, safety, and identity from every surface.
The continuous Teal Blue washbasin with Snow White edging has multiple side-by-side stations for simultaneous use. Wall-mounted fittings keep the surface clear and easy to clean. The integrated changing table with a built-in basin, circular-motif wall cladding, and house-shaped WC cubicle doors complete a well-designed system tailored specifically for children.
The project was done on a public commission basis, with all Krion fabrication carried out in the workshop. Installation took place on site. Each stage was managed in-house, from design to surface finishing, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
