This project involved creating a custom vanity console in Krion Snow White for a public bathroom in Milan. The piece is fully personalized to meet the functional and aesthetic needs of a busy environment, where looks and durability must work together without compromise.
Krion Snow White at 12 mm thickness was chosen for its technical and visual features, making it ideal for a high-quality sanitary surface. Its non-porous composition resists moisture and stains, offers seamless joints, and has uniform coloring throughout the material. The pure white finish gives the console a bright presence that fits well with the architectural setting while contrasting sharply with the large-format anthracite stoneware flooring. As a custom solid-surface vanity console, it conveys precision and quality across the entire width of the wall.
The custom Krion vanity console spans the full wall length without breaks, featuring two round KUP under-mounted basins that are flush with the surface. Wall-mounted chrome fittings keep the countertop clear, while a full-width mirror with sharp-edge lighting above enhances the sense of space and completes the design.
The project was done on a custom commission basis, with Krion fabrication done in the workshop, including basin cavity routing, edge profiling, and invisible joint bonding. Installation took place on-site. Each stage, including the mounting of the recessed mirror bracket, was managed in-house to ensure quality control throughout the process. For public and commercial spaces that need a seamless solid-surface vanity made to exact dimensions and finished to high standards, GP Design operates on a made-to-order basis.
