This project involves the custom fabrication of a Krion kitchen for an apartment within a villa in Mossano, in the Colli Berici hills. The work included the fabrication and installation of the kitchen countertop and island in Krion, the design and construction of the fitted wall unit in wood and Krion, the lighting system, and the supply of the dining table and chairs.
Custom Krion kitchen fabrication requires precise workmanship: slabs are worked in continuous runs to eliminate visible joints. The material was selected for its durability, hygiene properties, and ease of maintenance, qualities particularly relevant for a surface in daily intensive use.
The fitted wall unit is the most visually prominent element in the space. Designed as a mixed system of wooden modules and Krion panels, it alternates open compartments with closed doors in a compositional rhythm that gives order and visual continuity to the kitchen and dining area. The integration of the lighting system enhances the materials and helps define the different functional zones of the room.
The dining table and chairs were selected to match the project’s colour palette, white and natural oak, maintaining stylistic consistency across all components of the space.
Custom Krion kitchen fabrication is one of GP Design’s core specialisations: each project is developed around the specific dimensions, functional requirements and aesthetic choices of the client, ensuring a coherent and long-lasting result.
