This project involved the creation of a marble effect reception desk in Solid Surface for the Essequattro headquarters. The arabesque veining runs uninterrupted across top and front, composing a welcome element with a strong identity.
Marble effect Solid Surface combines the aesthetics of natural stone with the advantages of the composite material: a compact, non-porous, repairable surface, with invisible joints that keep the veining continuous even along the curves.
The curved form of the desk was achieved through thermoforming, following the design radius: the wraparound front welcomes visitors and defines the working area without sharp corners.
The marble effect reception desk was thermoformed and assembled in the GP Design workshop in Vicenza, Italy, followed by installation at the Essequattro headquarters: the hallmark of bespoke contract furniture.
