This project involved the creation of a wardrobe with wallpaper doors for a private residence in Milan. The white lacquered MDF structure provides the base for a front that becomes the protagonist of the room.
The doors are covered with a bookcase-motif wallpaper: a trompe-l’oeil that turns the wardrobe into a scenographic backdrop, visually lightening the volume of the storage unit.
Inside, the bespoke white wardrobe is organised with shelves, hanging rails and compartments designed to plan: an orderly structure combining capacity with everyday practicality.
MDF lacquering, application of the decorative covering and assembly were carried out in the GP Design workshop in Vicenza, Italy, followed by installation in Milan: this is how every wardrobe with wallpaper doors is built, with structure and décor coordinated from the start.
