This project involved the creation of a bespoke honeycomb bookcase in white melamine for a private residence in Vicenza. The irregular angled compartments turn the wall into a unique geometric composition.
The white melamine structure ensures solidity and surfaces that are easy to maintain; the Krion Glacier White cladding defines the fronts with a continuous, tactile finish, coordinated with the tone of the room.
Each cell of the honeycomb bookcase was cut and assembled to design: the angled corners require precision joints, executed in the workshop before wall mounting.
Cutting, bonding and finishing were handled in the GP Design workshop in Vicenza, Italy, followed by final on-site installation: the hallmark of custom living room furniture.
