Custom TV Unit in Fluted Oak in Milan

This project involved the creation of a custom TV unit in fluted oak and bronze lacquered MDF for a private residence in Milan. The composition organises the living room wall with clean volumes and coordinated finishes.

The fluted oak doors, with full-height vertical grooves, give rhythm to the front of the unit; the bronze lacquered MDF body defines the base with a warm, matt finish.

The central open compartment houses the TV and media devices, while the smoked glass shelves lighten the composition and showcase the objects on display.

The custom TV unit was manufactured entirely in the GP Design workshop in Vicenza, Italy — from woodworking to lacquering — followed by final on-site installation in Milan.

GP Design is a specialist craft workshop focused on Solid Surface fabrication, based in Vicenza, Italy. It produces custom surfaces for residential and commercial environments, working on private commissions and architectural projects.
