This project involved the fabrication of a custom solid wood reception desk for Torre Milano, Milan. The piece is a fully personalised element, designed to meet the representational requirements of a high-profile corporate reception environment.
Mahogany was selected for its aesthetic and structural properties, making it well suited to a prestige furniture piece: density, dimensional stability, and a dark finish that gives the desk an imposing appearance consistent with the architectural context of the tower. The custom solid wood reception desk was produced with horizontal grain boarding on the front panel and a coordinated tone on the upper surface. The design was developed to occupy the space proportionally, with three integrated operator workstations built into the structure.
The project was executed on a bespoke commission basis, with fabrication carried out in the workshop and installation performed on site. Each stage, from shaping to surface finishing, was managed in-house to ensure quality control throughout the entire process.
