Milan Residence – Custom Built-in Walk-in Wardrobe in White Laminate 

This project involved designing and creating a custom walk-in wardrobe for a private residence in Vicenza. The piece is a personalized storage system, built floor to ceiling and flush with the wall. It is designed to meet the organizational needs of a high-end residential setting.

The structure is made from white Pfleiderer laminate. This material was chosen for its stability, consistent finish, and neutral color. The hinged doors are made from white lacquered MDF, featuring a handle-free push-to-open recess that removes any visual disruption. When closed, the surface blends seamlessly with the wall, providing continuity and a clean look throughout the room. As a floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe, the piece is made to merge with the architecture rather than stand out. 

The interior layout includes a full-height open section with adjustable shelves, an oval-section metal hanging rail, and Blum Legrabox drawers with matching handle-free fronts. Vertical warm-white LED strips light up the interior without creating shadows. The natural oak flooring adds a warm contrast to the all-white design, while the handle-free exterior aligns with the room’s wall cladding. 

This project was done on a custom commission basis, with all fabrication taking place in the workshop and installation done on site. Every part, from the structure to the Blum hardware, was chosen and assembled in-house to ensure quality at every step.
