Padova – Mobile Lavabo Sospeso in Krion Snow White 

Padova – Wall-Hung Vanity Unit in Krion Snow White

This project involved making a custom wall-hung vanity unit in Krion Snow White for a private bathroom in Padova. The piece is fully personalized, designed around the Square model in a wall-hung configuration. It combines an integrated top and basin in a single continuous surface, along with a push-to-open drawer and a round wall mirror.

Krion Snow White was chosen for its ability to provide seamless, jointless surfaces with a non-porous and antimicrobial finish. This makes it especially suitable for spaces that require high hygiene standards. The basin has a rectangular shape, slightly recessed below the worktop level, with an inclined base that helps with drainage. The under-unit cabinet, finished in light grey laminate, is hung on the wall to visually lighten the design and make floor cleaning easier. 

The Square model vanity unit features a handleless drawer front with a central push-to-open recess, ensuring a clean and uninterrupted look. A chrome single-lever mixer tap is placed on the worktop surface. The round wall mirror matches the horizontal layout of the unit, while the blue tile cladding on the facing wall contrasts nicely with the white Krion surface. 

This project was done as a custom private commission. All work with Krion was completed in the workshop, including shaping the basin, routing the recess, and bonding invisible joints. Installation took place on-site, which included wall mounting and fitting the mirror. Each phase was handled in-house to ensure quality control at every step. For private and residential spaces needing a wall-hung vanity unit built to specific dimensions and finished to a high standard, GP Design works entirely on a made-to-order basis.

GP Design is a specialist craft workshop focused on Solid Surface fabrication, based in Vicenza, Italy. It produces custom surfaces for residential and commercial environments, working on private commissions and architectural projects.
