This project involved creating a custom reception desk in Krion Snow White for a professional setting in Padova. The desk is a fully personalized piece designed to define the client reception area visually. It integrates the operator workstation and public-facing front into a single, continuous structure with a U-shaped curved design.
Krion Snow White was chosen for its ability to conform to curved shapes without visible joints, resulting in a uniform surface that makes a strong visual statement. Its non-porous, easy-to-clean, and durable composition is ideal for high-traffic areas like reception spots, where furniture must maintain a clean look over time. As a custom curved reception desk, this piece reflects precision and quality from every angle. The pure white of the Krion interacts with the light wood cladding of the space, creating a balanced contrast between warm and cool tones.
The U-shaped curved desk is completely covered in Krion Snow White. It features a seamless front panel with no visible joints and a continuous upper surface with rounded edges. The front height provides visual privacy for the internal workstation while remaining open and accessible to the public.
The project was completed on a commercial commission basis, with all Krion fabrication done in the workshop. This included thermoforming and shaping of curved panels, invisible joint bonding, and surface and edge finishing. Installation took place on-site. Each stage was handled in-house to maintain quality control throughout the process.
